We’re done! We’ve reached the end of this two month journey and shown off our work. I will say I enjoyed watching everyone’s presentation, they were very informative and I could really see the impact each project made. I would say this is a bitter sweet moment because we’re all stepping away from this experience, but I am excited to take a break before the semester starts. I hope we’ll stay in contact and see each other around campus!
In terms of opinions I don’t think much has changed I still think Detroit is a great city that provides so much in terms of care and entertainment. The only change would be that I now more about the city outside of Downtown and a little bit of Southwest Detroit, I have always recognized the more residential areas of Detroit but they just were not on my radar of things to get to know. But I am happy that I got to explore those areas this summer
