9"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Being black ain&#8217;t free is cost\u00a0us our youth<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\u00a0We learned at an early age we can&#8217;t do what other kids do<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>We paying attention to the world cuz those our brothers \u00a0that we seeing on the news<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Everything is not black and white<\/div>\n<div>But what I&#8217;ve learned in my short life that blacks have limited rights<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Protection of the law comes few and far between<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You can&#8217;t even catch a break if yell out \u00a0&#8220;I can&#8217;t breathe&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>You can&#8217;t carry a gun in an open carry state if you&#8217;d do some white police officer will soon decide your fate<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>When the issues of rights come up everybody looks left<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Cause people think this is a game the ones \u00a0with money get to be the \u00a0refs<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Life is just one bad cal after another<\/div>\n<div>Like failure to indict unless it&#8217;s against a brother<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>All lives matter when white people are scared then the black lives need medical help and the situation needs to be repaired<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We are only fighting for our existence to be acknowledged \u00a0and respected.<\/div>\n<div>All we got is knowledge and we&#8217;re just tryna protect it<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We know how the systems work<\/div>\n<div>We know yes mam and yes sir<\/div>\n<div>We know how to work work work until our knuckles bleed and our backs hurt<\/div>\n<div>only to stay at the bottom and to be stuck in the city while were kept out of white burbs<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>We wanted to grow as a people but settled for being &#8220;equal&#8221;<\/div>\n<div>Sometimes I feel like the 60s was just the prequel<\/div>\n<div>Because this cycle of evil is transparent and therefore your intentions I see through<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Black lives matter was made to acknowledge our presence<\/div>\n<div>but the phrase \u00a0gets \u00a0a bad wrap cause we now consider our blackness a present<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>To be young gifted and black means that you know what it means to pick up the slack<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The slack that has been placed on your shoulders, to carry the weights that act as boulders to anchor you to your roots, and to bear knowledge, like a tree with strange fruit.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Black can be excellent \u00a0with big hair, nice Jay&#8217;s, and tattoos.<\/div>\n<div>We can be successful without confirming to chemical relaxers, and whack suits.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Don&#8217;t believe us just watch and our black youth and we will show you what our black do<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being black
