Breathe<\/strong>.\u00a0 It\u2019s okay to be anxious and nervous about living in a new city.\u00a0 Just take a moment to pause, acknowledge any unsettling emotions that are lingering in the background of your mind.\u00a0 Extend grace towards yourself and this new adventure.<\/p>\n Be in the Moment.\u00a0 <\/strong>Try not to over think everything you do, just enjoy.\u00a0 Enjoy getting to know your cohorts, appreciating their blended personalities and humor, energy, and stories.\u00a0 Enjoy the new job.\u00a0 Take in each day with the various opportunities and experiences.<\/p>\n Learn.\u00a0 <\/strong>Be a student of the experiences that you are partaking in, and don\u2019t allow the fear of mistakes to hinder your progress.\u00a0 You are going to learn so much this summer from your surroundings, community, and cohorts.<\/p>\n Celebrate.\u00a0 <\/strong>You are in a beautiful place this summer, with amazing people \u2013 celebrate one another victories, successes, and even on the hard days, be there for each other.<\/p>\n Connect.\u00a0 <\/strong>Be open to new adventures, experiences, and friendships.\u00a0 Beautiful things happen when you are in a place of openness.<\/p>\n Grow.\u00a0 <\/strong>You are surrounded by new beginnings filled with limitless potential, just go for it.<\/p>\n Laugh.\u00a0 <\/strong>Life is filled with too much seriousness, angst, and heartache \u2013 remember to take time in each day to share in the gift of laughter.<\/p>\n Be Kind, Be Well.<\/p>\n Julia<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" \u00a1Hola Julia!
