discusses how the Little Caesars arena could potentially help Detroit neighborhoods. \u00a0Millions of Detroit tax dollars were spent making modifications to the arena so that the Pistons could also use the facility. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Councilwoman Mary Sheffield introduced legislation that would redirect money from the NBA plays income taxes back into the neighborhood. \u00a0The article states it is imperative for the neighborhoods to benefit from the Pistons returning to Detroit, and I couldn\u2019t agree more. \u00a0Detroit has seen so many \u2018improvements\u2019 over the past 5 years, but \u00a0most of these improvements do not benefit the neighborhoods or the people living in them. \u00a0It seems like this new proposal could help bridge some of that gap. \u00a0I hope to see this legislation pass, and continue to see lawmakers and city council people invest their time and energy into the
