I feel like this prompt is supposed to lead us to discuss some incredible revelation that we had one day about Detroit and living here and things like that but I haven\u2019t really had one of those yet. The experiences that I\u2019ve had so far that really stand out to me are the fun ones that I have with my friends as Lindsay and I check things off of our list. I know that is somewhat of a na\u00efve thing to say but it\u2019s true. Most of the largely eye-opening experiences happen at work for me while I interact with the students. Other than that, I feel like I am not experiencing too much which is a sad thing to say but the it\u2019s the truth. We\u2019ve had experiences like the day we ate at American Coney, the night that we ate tons of cookies after Lindsay made at least 200, or the day we went to that free concert at Campus Martius. Those are experiences that I love and are incredible memories but at times I feel like I should be doing more exploring outside of the Midtown\/Downtown area and we are planning to but there\u2019s only so much we can do in 3 weeks.<\/p>\n
