The weeks are flying by, and it makes me sad. We only have three weeks left for finalizing our projects and for creating and maintaining friendships. I’m just now warming up and peeking out of my shell in terms of letting people in. Also, shout out to Peggy, she’s a super cool chick and thanks for kicking it with Nina and me that night when I ate an overseasoned mango. Anyways, here comes a quick subject change because it’s late and my brain is just throwing out thoughts left and right. I need an outlet.<\/p>\n
With the number of weeks we have left, I did not only realize that I want to become more open with people, but I also realized I need to break out of this mundane routine of work, eat, sleep, repeat. I want to get back into writing, dancing, and also discover new and undiscovered hobbies. For example, I would love to start painting, working out, or even crocheting. Like come on, my carpool already refers to me as “grandma Shay”, but if I started crocheting that would be a whole new level of “grandma Shay” that they would not be ready for. That would be the epitome of my grandmaness, not including when I become an actual grandma.<\/p>\n
Anyways as you can tell, my attention span when tired is similar to that of a dog in a park being overwhelmed by squirrels\u00a0from every direction and trying to chase after every single one. My brain is the dog and my thoughts are the squirrels. Anyways (for the second time), what I’m basically saying is that time flys when you’re having fun, I need to open up more to people and let them see more than just my goofy side, I need an outlet to break the monotony\u00a0of the 9-5 work life, and my brain can’t stick to one point when I’m tired. Those who have read this far, I want to say you are a trooper and sorry not sorry for my lack of direction in this post.
