I enjoyed reading the \u201cEastside Residents Welcome New Community Rainscape Garden in Chandler Park\u201d article. I live and work close to Chandler Park, so it is great to know that the community has a garden that will offer different opportunities to the residents. The garden will protect the neighborhood from flooding, which will help protect people’s homes form damages. I was happy to see that elementary school students would be taught how to care for the community garden. I think there are a lot of skills and lessons to learn from gardening. I think the garden is a great addition to the community. It is a learning opportunity for all ages and another way to bring the neighborhood together.<\/p>\n
