It\u2019s hard to believe that our time together is almost over! There have been a number of great experiences at my site placements and at the weekly DCERP meetings, so it is kind of difficult to narrow it down to just one thing. However, I think the thing that stuck out the most to me would have to be the support from other DCERP students. I have noticed that there is never a lack of support for other students in virtually every aspect, whether it be a small accomplishment or a larger one. This is also the case for when guest speakers take time out of their busy schedules to speak with us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"265\" height=\"190\" src=\"https:\/\/courses.lsa.umich.edu\/dcerp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/63\/2020\/07\/suuport.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-15024\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Just to name one specific example, I remember when Ysabel was studying for her MCAT and the amount of support and good luck wishes she received was very heartwarming to witness, and I imagine even more heartwarming to receive! In addition to this support, there is no shortage of advice or assistance when one of us may be struggling with something, and I find solace in knowing that if I may ever be having an issue, I can turn to my DCERP peers for help. I think this kindness and support from peers is very helpful in furthering the welcoming environment that we all love being a part of!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019ve had a great time in DCERP so far both in and outside of my site placements.
