This past week has been sad wrapping up the first cohort of the summer camp. I’m going to miss some of the kids that are leaving, but I’m excited for the new group that is coming in. I feel like since we have some of the old kids that are still in camp they can teach the newer kids the skills that they learned which would make things a little bit more easier for us. I’m just concerned with the amount of incoming kids and how we will keep track of all of them. Since I’m also leaving the week before their camp ends, I hope there could be a way for me to leave without making it so abrupt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I know I’ve mentioned this before but working at a nonprofit is stressful. I love the kids that I work for but there are other things that still need to be done behind the scenes after they leave to go home. I don’t think I’ve been as tired and depressed these past two weeks compared to when I first started at my site. Hopefully things will get better as I approach the end.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
