Well, I suppose I haven’t changed that much in the last 9 weeks, given that I still spent way too long staring at the prompt for this last blog entry, willing it to write itself. I’m still anxious and hesitant every time I write. I still overthink and edit to infinity, and I’m not sure that will ever stop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There’s a lot of other things that haven’t changed, either. I mostly met my own expectations, though I still feel like there’s so much more I could have done with my site, given more time. But I also learned so much about how cities operate, and resources that are available than I ever expected. I’d like to think I’ve gotten better at interacting with people. And I’ve come to understand that, just because a community is about mutual support and mutual respect doesn’t mean that support has to be transactional. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve learned so much and had so much fun this summer. Thank you to my mentor, the other DCERP fellows, and everyone else who made this program possible. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
