I had a late start and an even later than expected finish but the important thing is that I have reached the end.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image alignleft\" id=\"i-2816\" style=\"font-style:normal\" alt=\"Image\" src=\"http:\/\/uropcbrp.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/08\/bye.jpg?w=219\" \/><strong>This summer has allowed me to grow in patience, has taught me research skills I never thought I&#8217;d use, and has given me the opportunity to put my Spanish major to good use.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It is a bitter sweet sorrow knowing that I am saying goodbye to the agency. Bitter because I won&#8217;t see everyone for a long time but sweet because I know that I will come back to visit in the future.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>When I started this program I did not expect to leave feeling a part of the Southwest Detroit community but I do. Research is crunching numbers but <em>community based<\/em> research is forming relationships.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>Thank you DHDC for all you&#8217;ve done.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I cannot believe it but this is my final post for the program.
