But understanding what exactly I need to accomplish this goal has been ridiculously hard for me! I find myself with a desk full of paper with notes all up and down them, not knowing how exactly I can synthesize any of this information. I found myself going into work every day having no idea how to accomplish my overall goal.

On top of this I couldn’t go into work at the end of the week because I wasn’t feeling well, so I was getting further and further behind in my work until I felt like I couldn’t even go back because it was feeling so helpless.

Amidst the helplessness, I believe the break was for the best because this Tuesday, going back to work, everything felt crystal clear! I made a to-do list that made sense, I had actually gotten enough sleep the previous night, and I was trying a different side of the problem. I felt like I was handling a problem that looked like a pinata, one side was impenetrable but once I flipped it to the other side I found the sweet spot and now, instead of drowning in notes, I’m drowning in the candy of ideas!

I think this was all a good life lesson for me. I needed to understand that a problem really is never hopeless, because you just need to keep flipping it over until you find the right approach for you.

And here’s a bunch of random pictures from the past week!

I learned how to crochet!
