LSA Grant Archive<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

LSA Technology Services staff are available to explore, plan, and support LSA faculty instructional technology projects, including assistance in identifying and applying for relevant funding opportunities. Grants are open to all instructional staff in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts at the University of Michigan \u2013 Ann Arbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

LSA Faculty Grant Opportunities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Level One<\/strong> grants<\/a> of up to $5,000 are available to individual faculty members to support the costs of initiating an effort to use instructional technologies in teaching undergraduate courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Level Two<\/strong>\u00a0grants<\/a>\u00a0of up to $15,000 are available to faculty to carry out more substantial and especially innovative undergraduate curricular developments that take advantage of new instructional technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Initiatives\/New Instruction (NINI)<\/a> <\/strong>grants focus on Inclusive Teaching\/Innovative Teaching and will be available to LSA Faculty and Lecturers to foster student success through inclusive teaching practices and innovative teaching methods.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Application Deadline: Monday after Spring Break, each year. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teaching Transformed<\/a><\/strong> grants of up to $12,500 are available to \u201ctrue beginner\u201d faculty members who have not had much direct experience using technology in their teaching. Up to\u00a0$5000 is available as a possible faculty stipend ($2500\/year for\u00a0two years)\u00a0for those faculty who qualify.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
