The future of American democracy certainly has more questions than answers<\/strong>. After all, our country’s political landscape has undergone significant changes in the past few months in all three branches of government. This episode begins to answer just how intense and impactful these changes may be. I sit down with Trevor Daley, President of LA-based PR firm Cerrell Associates and Democratic political expert, to discuss his post-election takeaways, expectations for the new administration, and advice to students looking to get democratically involved. After gauging opinions on what the future of the Republican Party might look like, I talk to a group of my peers at the University of Michigan about their political hopes, concerns, and convictions right now and moving forward. While the future still holds many unknowns and uncertainties, there are many ways in which our generation can start shaping the values and goals of our democracy today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
