Abstract

How do we solve the issue of gender inequality in the workplace? What solutions can we find to make promotions more available to our female work employees and managers? How can we find a solution to make sure that female workers have equal opportunities in the workplace as men workers? Our research argument is extremely important because it speaks about gender inequality which is a crucial problem that exists in today’s society. We are exploring how female managers/employees are being affected by this problem and our goal is to help them have a better experience in the workplace. Our first research method is to use second hand data from vendors and do data matching and analyze the results that we will get from data matching. We might also potentially do some literary research and analyze scholarly articles. After finishing data analysis of the matched data, we would like to explore some questions such as: if the company has more business lines could it be easier or more difficult for female managers/employees to be promoted? And, at the market level, how will the dynamic of competition between both genders affect female promotion? This research is valuable to solve the ongoing issue of gender inequality and in addition can contribute to future research.
