Abstract
This research is about wanting to know if having an anonymous backchannel helps students feel a higher level of belonging in introductory courses. This research mainly stems from the idea of letting students freely participate in class. It ultimately is being done to improve the overall experience of students in a class or lecture hall in order to help them learn the most they can possibly learn from each class. This idea mainly comes from thinking of how to help students with their education using technology to overall benefit the learning environment.
