Abstract
Wicked problems are social issues that are complex and difficult to solve, and often do not have one single, straightforward solution. Many have designed solutions stemming from top-down and bottom-approaches alike, at both international and local levels. The Wicked Solutions Domain, or WSDOM for short, is Professor Audrey Bennett’s way of connecting these solutions and facilitating more information-sharing across organizations. The website displays information in a visual format, with tools such as graphs and charts; the easy-to-digest blurbs and diagrams have made information as accessible and transparent as possible. Our hope for WSDOM is that we are able to analyze the effects of different design solutions from several sources to come up with combined strategies and improve certain wicked problems.
