Abstract
Network telescopes enable researchers to observe many malicious activities including malware propagation, denial of service attacks, and scanning performed by nefarious actors. Analysis of the resulting data from the network telescopes can be useful to detect and prevent cyber-threats. To perform such analysis, we will implement codes that utilize visualization, data clustering, and other machine learning methods. Using the results of the analysis, we are hoping to find new malware activities in the network telescopes that would otherwise be hard to identify. This result can help to provide useful information to foresee, limit, or prevent the impact of malware Internet activities.
