Abstract
This presentation stems from the current project titled “Assessment of Individual Risk of Cardiovascular Events by Platelet FcGammaRIIa”. This research project is looking at platelet FcgammaRlla to determine if there is an association with acute coronary disease risk. Although the results of this study are currently unknown, this research may answer an important question in regards to associating platelet cells with a more individualized risk of acute coronary disease, stroke, and death. We will outline the methods utilized in the prospective observational study, hypothesize what the results may show and indicate potential future clinical applications.
