Abstract
In response to the pressing challenges within the realm of quantum technology, our laboratory is dedicated to the exploration of quantum receivers designed to discern quantum states under diverse operational conditions. Specifically, our project endeavors to implement new quantum receiver decoding strategies for a diverse set of communication and sensing problems. Employing FPGA development in Vivado on the Red Pitaya board, we can interface with the quantum receiver hardware platform in real time, leading to an exponential reduction in complexity compared to the previous experiments. The crux of our findings centers on the quantum receiver’s efficiency, suggesting its viability in practical environments. In the broader context, these insights contribute to the ongoing advancement of quantum technology, aspiring toward a general-purpose quantum computer. Beyond the scientific community, this research will benefit broadly industry and the engineering workforce development, fostering progress and innovation in this cutting-edge domain.
