Abstract

This research project focuses on enhancing precision in radiation detection through voltage-energy calibration. By optimizing the relationship between voltage settings and emitted energy levels from radiation sources, the study aims to improve accuracy in measurement specifically tailored to scintillators . The methodology involves using the “Atlas” program for data collection and visualization to fine-tune instrument settings and establish a reliable calibration curve. Initial results demonstrate a significant reduction in measurement variability, indicating increased accuracy across various applications including medical diagnostics, environmental monitoring, and nuclear safety.
