Abstract
This presentation explores the influence of the Chaldean community on Michigan’s political landscape. Through their activism and engagement, Chaldean Americans have brought attention to issues such as immigration reform, religious freedom, and cultural preservation. This presentation will mainly focus on Rep. Sandy Levin’s action for the Chaldean community of Michigan.
