Abstract
This research explores the impact of labor unions on managerial compensation. Managers, often excluded from traditional labor negotiations, may experience indirect effects based on the unionization status within their industries and geographic locations. The specific impact on managerial pay is relatively unexplored in previous studies. This project aims to examine the relationship between labor unions and manager wages in the most recent decade, using an established efficiency wage model.
