Abstract
The innovative manipulation of CrSBr monolayers into homo-bilayers via varying twist angles heralds a new era in material science, promising to unlock diverse properties influenced by the resultant moiré patterns. This study aims to delve into the phenomena of moiré magnetism and moiré excitons within two-dimensional (2D) magnetic structures, and analyzing how they correlate to each other. In order to do the analysis, three basic steps are tokens. Firstly, CrSBr monolayers are carefully exfoliated on 90nm SiO2 substrates. Secondly, the monolayers are stacked into a homo-bilayer with different twist angles, ensuring a variety of twist angles to induce different moiré patterns. Finally, the homo-bilayer is tested by laser spectroscopy under 5K temperature with external magnetic field. It is expected to see a correlation between the property of the homo-bilayer and the moire patterns of how the homo-bilayer is created. The implications of this research are profound, potentially catalyzing the emergence of unconventional superconductivity at elevated temperatures within magnetic frameworks. Such a breakthrough has the transformative potential for myriad applications, from the realms of lossless power transmission to the avant-garde frontiers of quantum computing. Through this exploration, we stand on the cusp of uncovering new physical principles that could redefine material utilization, signaling a quantum leap forward in technological advancement.
