Abstract
Birdseye is an innovative digital platform designed to revolutionize the way academic researchers and scholars access and interact with primary sources in the field of humanities and social sciences. Focusing primarily on Asian history, culture, and religion, Birdseye serves as a repository and an interactive hub where scholars can upload, share, and engage with digital primary sources. At the core of Birdseye is the integration of AI technologies, including the latest GPT-4 Turbo model, which enables users to interact with the platform conversationally. This feature is especially beneficial for extracting and analyzing complex data from various historical texts and artifacts. It also facilitates language translation, making non-English texts more accessible to a global academic audience. Any foreign language is fine, but preferably Asian language.
