Abstract

Investigate if there is an association between tobacco use and LACE scores (e.g. tobacco use leading to higher scores). Investigate if there is an association between tobacco use and demographic characteristics and race, age, and sex. Investigate if tobacco use can be used a predictor of case severity (CMI, Case Mix Index) while also accounting for association between sex, race, and age of patient with case severity.
