Abstract
Community health workers (CHWs) play a critical role in bridging gaps in healthcare access and research communication, particularly in managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease. This project examines the efficiency of various CHW training methods, comparing traditional in-person instruction, digital learning modules, and in-person or hybrid approaches. By analyzing key outcomes such as knowledge retention, patient engagement, and clinical impact, this presentation evaluates which methods best equip CHWs with the skills needed to improve health outcomes in their communities. The findings aim to inform future training programs, ensuring CHWs receive effective and scalable education tailored to the evolving needs of public health.
