Abstract
The purpose of this research is to increase the air quality of Southwest Detroit neighborhoods. Local factories and industries are big air polluters that create unsafe air quality in Southwest Detroit neighborhoods. By converting these industries to clean energy and placing regulations on these industries, Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision limits the amount of air pollution in local neighborhoods. In order to get results, we collect data on which districts and areas allow types of industrial building. From this, we learned that by providing local companies with grants that pay for them to switch, we can decrease the air pollution.
