Hey y’all!<\/p>\n

My name is Jamie\u00a0Lee. I’m from Detroit and came to Ann Arbor in 2008 as a U of M freshman. After many life’s twists and turns, I’m returning this fall after a 5-year break as a rising senior.\u00a0I’m also [intermittently]\u00a0<\/span>pursuing an Associate’s in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management. I’m first and foremost a mom, est. 2009.<\/span><\/p>\n

We spent half the day playing Pokemon immediately after his soccer game and took a break at Noodles & Company – 3 huge things that our spare time revolves around.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My research this summer is with Dr. Megan Pesch who’s studying maternal attitudes and behaviors surrounding feeding their toddlers and the impact it has on obesity rates. I’ll also be working on a project that involves studying how mothers interact with picky eaters.<\/p>\n

My hobbies are pretty much food and food-related activities. Looking at food, making food, discovering new food, studying food, talking about food, etc. Some of my favorite Ann Arbor restaurants are Blue Tractor, Black Pearl (that is if someone else’s paying), Jolly Pumpkin, Arbor Brewing Company, Chela’s Evergreen, Northside Grille, Ashley’s, Tmaz, The Lunch Room, Jerusalem Garden, Los Amigos – I will stop there…for now.<\/span><\/p>\n

I <\/span>loooove\u00a0music and I’m always trying to go to concerts and discover new artists (if you have suggestions <\/span>PLEASE comment)! My typical playlist might be like:<\/span><\/p>\n

    I enjoy lots of different things and I’m usually down for most activities.\u00a0<\/span>I don’t have a lot of favorites. I’m too indecisive\/fickle to have a favorite of anything. But if we talk, I can tell you some worthy contenders! I’m totally an open book and love to talk. I also love coffee and will have a coffee date at almost any time.
