Although it&#8217;s been a bit of an unusual week (just in time for the &#8220;day in the life&#8221; post, of course), I&#8217;ve come up with a model day of my work at my lab, including some pictures and videos. Most of the videos don&#8217;t have interesting sound because I don&#8217;t want to talk to myself in the halls, and I try to stay quiet around the mice.<\/p>\n<p>8:00ish: I arrive at the building (I park across the street at Kroger). There&#8217;s fair bit of security. Sometimes I do NMR (like MRI) on them, which involves putting them into tubes and then into a machine that measures their fat and lean mass.
