Abstract

Whole Health is a holistic approach to taking care of oneself from all physical and mental health perspectives. Some of these perspectives are covered in the Passport to Health and also through the categories of Whole Health defined in the Circle of Health. Power of the Mind is one of these categories. Power of the Mind focuses on mental health and the ability of the mind to help in healing. Our research group created a survey based on different topic areas of Whole Health, tested that survey and edited it and then sent out a final 50 question Qualtrics survey. We will analyze the data through statistics and other methods and I will create an implementation project based on the results. My research question considers that certain mentalities affect the individual no matter their gender. It is important to point out the individual’s methods for releasing stress and associating it with their mindset. In addition I consider how individuals view themselves physically and how that connects with their values. This will be important for understanding the individual’s view points and making a correlation not only between perspective and interests but also gender trends.
