Abstract
Integrative whole health emphasizes a comprehensive, patient-centered approach to healthcare, addressing physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being. This research explores how integrative whole health practices, including mindfulness-based interventions, lifestyle modifications, and personalized care plans, can improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare disparities. Specifically, the study investigates the implementation and effectiveness of these practices within communities where holistic care is uncommon or limited. This research uses a survey designed in Qualtrics consisting of demographic, qualitative, and quantitative questions for individuals to self-assess their whole health. The questions were organized in sections: moving the body, surroundings, power of the mind, personal development, family/friends/relationships, spirit and soul, recharge, food and drink. A pending analysis of the 217 survey respondents will be done through analyzing programs like R-Studio and SPSS. These findings will highlight the potential of integrative whole health to reshape traditional healthcare systems and communities by prioritizing prevention, individualized care, and equity. By addressing the root causes of illness and promoting holistic well-being, this research contributes to the growing body of evidence supporting integrative approaches as a viable model for sustainable and inclusive healthcare reform.
