Abstract

This project looked at how environmental conditions and different instruments can affect outdoor radiation surveys. Multiple surveys were collected at the Eda U. Gerstacker Grove, where three surveyors walked the same path while recording location linked radiation data. After combining and mapping the results, two surveyors produced consistent patterns, while the third showed differences, suggesting an issue with that detector or its data processing. The work helps identify how to improve consistency when creating radiation heatmaps from repeated surveys.
