Abstract

It has been shown that a change in the CHD7 gene can cause individuals to be more prone to developmental disorders, such as CHARGE syndrome. The aim of this study was to analyze the changes in the brain mechanism in those with a mutation in the CHD7 gene, in comparison to those without one. This was done through brains from mouse models of both a wild type and mutation strain.
