Abstract
This project is a GIS-based study using NaNDA’s Public Transit Stops and Socioeconomic Status and Demographics datasets to examine regional connections between public transit stops, residential development patterns, and socioeconomic outcomes at the census tract level. I will create maps layering transit stop locations with demographic data to identify patterns between socioeconomic outcomes and public transit access. This analysis can inform further transit investment and align it with various residential and commercial development goals.
