While I’m posting this in India I wrote it in the States and never got around to posting it. I’m really excited to be going to India. I will be volunteering as a slum teacher in Faridabad in the metro of New Delhi. For all of my life I’ve always wanted to visit India. Probably since I was a small child and I saw the film “The Little Princess” I think it’s called. Anyway this is also the week of my last class at U of M, I will be graduating in August so this is my last week in Michigan after three years. I’m flying straight home to California in August from India. So it’s a really melancholy week, happy and sad. I’ve heard a lot about the poverty in India and the pollution so I’m sure that will be a lot to digest. Well I think that is a good pre-departure post without rambling so for now I’ll say I can’t wait to make my next post from India.
