A Daily Schedule

Usually my daily routine of research commenced with me waking up at around 9 a.m. and starting my morning necessities of brushing, showering, and breakfasting. I keep my breakfast simple, often only having a fruit and a cereal bar. Then, at around like 10:30 I begin my research activities. Sometimes I change location from my apartment to university buildings, or libraries, but I mostly stick to my desk and begin plugging away. My research is very self-directed, and my day-to-day activities consist of reading literature in the field related to female lobbyists, transcribing images of lobbying records from the past into excel spread sheets, coding female lobbyists, and performing occasional UROP activities. The image shows a typical look at my computer screen during the process. At around 1:30 to 2:00 pm, I decide to usually eat lunch based on what I have cooked during the weekend. Personally, I prefer to cook and clean from Friday to Sunday, not build in individualized time during the week for those activities. Typically, from 2:30pm to 6:00pm, I attend meetings with my mentor or go to UROP activities. Then, I attempt to be productive for maybe another hour before I eat dinner at around 7:00pm, or 7:30pm. I mix dinner with a couple of hours of television, my latest obsession happens to be the Real Housewives of New York for some reason or another. Later, I go onto reading and end up sleeping at around 1:00 to 2:00 a.m. Afterwards, yet another day commences!
