I think WAGSFP gave me an experience that everyone should participate in. I am the odd one out as an engineer but I never felt excluded regardless. The research I take part in is amazing and world changing. Even more amazing is all the participants of WAGSFP, who are so passionate about their research. These people want to dive headfirst into their work and I’ll most likely hear about what they’re doing in the future. The staff and faculty who made WAGSFP possible were amazing. I was not able to make it to every seminar but those that I did go to were useful. Everyone should take part in research that expands their views past their chosen career to see how the world interacts with each other.
