Grit(s) w/ Cheese

Reflecting on the presentation by Joe Salvatore, I am analyzing my goals and the level of grit I have to help me attain these goals. The end goal of my college career is to have a PhD in clinical psychology and become a therapist. While I have shown my grit and determination by making it this far, I am really going to have to push myself to reach the next stage. I am going to be applying to graduate school in the fall and putting together 20 applications is going to be rough. Along with that, I will be studying for the GRE so that I can get a good score so I can go to a good grad school. There never seems to be a lull. No time to just enjoy my current state, I always need to be working towards the next level. This is the path I have chosen, and the path I will need the most amount of grit to complete. The goal is for it to all pay off in the end, by having the career I have set my mind to and being paid a salary that reflects the massive amount of work that went into attaining the position.

Sincerely,

Anxious Kalei
