You wouldn’t expect a person with my career path as a nuclear engineer to be part of WAGSFP. I was unsure of how much I could benefit from a primarily humanities based research group. I had conducted archival research for all of my freshmen school year. I expected some general research tips and other advice for the humanities field, then we could get back to research.
I learned alot from both the seminars and the wonderful people participating. Every seminar is a way to make us more skilled, not just in our field, but for anything we would do in the future.
