What do restaurants and grocery stores say about their seafood options? Most importantly, do you know where that fish came from? Seafood meals can be presented so beautifully that it is easy to forget the origins of our meals and the environmental and social impacts of our choices.The fish used in your delicious sushi rolls and buttery homemade garlic salmon dishes came from the ocean and quite possibly raised or harvested in not the most sustainable way. No matter how far away from the ocean you live, your seafood choices, and those of your friends’ and family’s impact the marine environment and those who live near it.
