I think a large portion of my time in Detroit other than my job and the people in my program has been impacted by my life group. So my life group is pretty much a bible study group (through the church that I go to in Ann Arbor, a lot of people come to Detroit for work, returning home, etc. so they have it here too), were we all live out life together. So once I knew I would be in Detroit for the summer, I knew that I would be involved.
And I am really happy that I have been able to be involved with it. It has been really cool to be able to see a church and community that I have been apart of since my first year at UofM in a different light. The structure is the same but people are different and I have learned oh so much from them all. This has been my last week of it and i am sad but blessed to have experienced it at all. It has also been really cool having people from DCBRP that have like put themselves out there and came, like I have been blessed by them all.Its hard to put all of the lessons learned and good feelings that I am leaving with because of it so i shall leave yall with pics.
