So far, my placement with Develop Detroit has been great. The office is extremely lax with and very diverse. Outside of work, I’ve been spending a lot of time outside of my apartment with other people in the program. We’ve gone out to eat, attended different event, or generally enjoyed each other’s time. I’ve also been able to bond with my family since I’m in Detroit for the summer. I can visit them whenever I need to or go to them for support.
