My workplace environment is a shared office, but there are also open spaces where meetings are held. I share an office with two people, who have different roles. They are very friendly and I enjoy sharing and receiving different ideas from them. I am also able to ask my supervisor questions and get a response quickly. I hold planning committee meetings weekly and I enjoy hearing everyone’s ideas about the health fair. I am allowed to dress casual. I work with people who are older than me. At my workplace I interact with people who are the same race. However, some vendors and people that I meet attending meetings are a different race. It is clear that my community site values providing as many opportunities that are beneficial to the residents. I have noticed this from attending meeting with my supervisor which gives me a better understanding of what is taking place outside of my project.
