This is a difficult prompt for me because I was never really assigned one project. Instead, I worked on a variety of things and acted more as support on those projects. I think that these past weeks have taught me a lot about how nonprofit work can extremely collaborative. I learned a lot while trying to get sponsors for my site’s annual fundraising event and really saw how much covid-19 has financially affected people. I’m not sure how much my help on these projects specifically taught me about Detroit, but I think being on-site and working in person taught me about the culture at SDEV at the very least.
