Week 8 went by in the blink of an eye. I feel good about where I’m at with my project and my site. I’ve been able to work on a few different projects ranging from data collection/management to creating website content, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed each one. Through my work, I’ve seen how HVR truly cares about the lives and health of the people in Hope Village and how they go above and beyond to improve both. I’ve also seen the nuances of non-profit work and how it can be limited by funding, time restraints, and having few volunteers/employees. However, I must say that HVR doesn’t let these limitations restrict the amazing work they do. I’m so proud and grateful to work with such a great team.
