Today I got to sit in on a meeting with the Manhattan Institute and George Kelling. Kelling is the author of the Broken Windows Theory. Yes, the man who wrote one of the most groundbreaking chapters in urban crime mitigation and could be named the academic father of community policing. Yeah, I got to sit four feet away from him! (Can you tell I was totally geeking out?!) So imagine my joy when my supervisor handed out those little suspicious vehicle guides I posted about earlier. AND that the Institute guy and Kelling liked them and wanted to share them with the other organizations they were meeting with.
Absolute, total win.
That’s awesome! I could only imagine how great it feels to have someone you admire like your work! Keep up the great work
Ditto! It’s so cool that you got to see George Kelling and he liked your work!!

I know it had to be such an honor when he liked your work!! Congrats! Hard work always pays off.
