I have been observing a lot. The community I work in has many great things to offer and it feels a bit rewarding to be a part of the process. Many teachers are overwhelmed and do not have much time to focus on themselves, but at the end of each and every day, they continue to impact the lives of their students.
I have learned just how small the world really is. At one of my site visits I shadowed a teacher who had been the mentee of my current supervisor, the roommate of my hs math teacher, and the best friend of my soccer coach. I say this to say one person can have such a huge impact on the lives of many and we may not be aware of just how connected we really are to one another.
