Every time I find myself on Cass Street, I remember what we learned on the Black Scroll Tour. Throughput the tour I learned some of the history of Detroit that I probably never would have learned on my own.
Visiting some of our work sites has been interesting and insightful. It shows that all our placements are working hard within the Detroit communities to influence a sustainable change. This makes me happy!
Our group events/group meetings have added to my appreciation of living and walking the streets of Detroit. Each neighborhood holds a story, I am fortunate to have learned/listened to some of them.
