The group meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays have been very informative, as I know they were intended to be. Of course, in the Tuesday meetings, I learned a lot about different organizations making changes in the city and what the progress of new initiatives has been. However, what I have found most interesting has been the Thursday meetings organized by my peers in the program. To me, it has been very interesting to see what my fellow DCBRPers have thought to be interesting activities to do around the city as a way to engage with each other. As someone interested in seeing what drives people to certain areas to spend their free time, these small instances of choice have been informative as well.
